“What i can say in that album is, none will be trashed.”

This is how Christian Bautista described his third album titled Captured during the press launch held yesterday, July 16, at the Red Box Karaoke, TriNoma in Quezon City.

He further explained, “None will be trashed in that CD. ‘What we want is, when we worked with Warner, all the songs are potential singles.”

The 27-year-old balladeer was so proud that he was able to put out an all-original album, something different from his previous albums that contained mostly cover songs. In fact, he said initially had doubts about making this album since most musicians were doing cover songs.

“I was a little bit hesistant,” Christian narrated, “Will i really be ready for this? Will i be all original?’ But when i hear an original song thats a hit in the radio, whether foreigner or not, at least theres hope.

With all the twelve original songs in the album Captured, Christian realized that it’s still possible to satisfy listeners even without revival songs. “Its really ok, it just has to an exceptional song that will really touch some people’s lives and they can sing along. It’s risky pero good enough. This is taking the harder route.”

Talking about exceptional songs, Christian hopes that another song from his latest album would be able to touch the heart of his listeners.

Dolphy is going to celebrate his 80th birthday this coming July 25 and what he wishes for is to change his status from single to married. He wants to marry the woman he loves, needless to say but Zsa Zsa. He even said that he usually feels shy whenever people sees his passport having a single status.

His son, Eric Quizon and friend, Ms. Bibeth Orteza have been working on his book. This describes his entire life although he did not let a few parts to be published and remain public. The book is nearly finished and he is extremely satisfied with it.

With Dolphy’s 80th birthday, ABS-CBN has prepared a birthday special for the Comedy King which also includes Ready to Rumble and Double Trouble where Vic Sotto will be participating in it too.

In one of his recent interviews, Dolphy even told the press that Vic will be the next Comedy King but Vic told them that he disagrees with him because for him there is only one Comedy King, and that is Dolphy. He regards Vic as a young son to him and even thought they don’t talk much, they both know that they love each other.

Dolphy’s birthday will only be celebrated at home with his family.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – The women of Wisteria Lane may have only a few more years to resolve their assorted problems.

“Desperate Housewives” creator and executive producer Marc Cherry told a meeting of the Television Critics Association on Thursday that he plans to end the ABC series after seven seasons.

The domestic comedy-drama starring Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria begins its fifth season this fall.

“I love working with these gals, but the idea of letting anyone else take the show from me kind of makes me sad and sick to my stomach,” Cherry said. “We’re going to get out while people still like us.”

“Of course,” he added, “this could be some clever ruse on my part to get tremendous amounts of money in season eight, but who knows.”

Cherry, who took part in a “Desperate” panel discussion, also joined a Q&A session with other top ABC producers.

I dont know what really happened between Claudine and Angel, but according to the article that i read, it started at a salon of Pin Antonio. It was as a blind item at first, no one wanted to admit it so it was regarded as just a rumor. But in the end, Claudine told her side of the story.

According to Claudine’s version, she asked Angel if she really left Becky Aguila and her new manager is now, Ms. Malou Santos, the Managing Director of Star Cinema. She denied it instantly and asked where she got the news. Claudine told her she got it from Alex, the makeup artist doing her makeup at that moment. But Angel still denied it. When Angel asked Alex where he got the news, he told her he got the news from the mother of the child actress, Charming Lagusad, who is also being managed by Becky. According to the child’s mother, they already left Becky and so was Angel.

When Claudine went outside, Angel followed her and told her so many mean things. So Claudine told her that she is not the princess in ABS-CBN, but Bea Alonzo. When she went back inside, she was already crying and bent her anger at Alex. She raised her voice, pointed a finger at Alex and even kicked the chair.
